Calling Parishioners and Friends to Ministries

In the Decree on the Apostolate of the Laity, the Church tells us that all Christians have a vocation to “share in the mission of the whole people of God in the Church and in the world.” (2)

“Our own times require of the laity no less zeal: in fact, modern conditions demand that their apostolate be broadened and intensified. With a constantly increasing population, continual progress in science and technology, and closer interpersonal relationships, the areas for the lay apostolate have been immensely widened particularly in fields that have been for the most part open to the laity alone.”

• Liturgical Ministry (Lector, Choir Member, Greeter, Server, Translator….)
• Educational Ministry (Catechist, Formation, Evange- lizer….)
• Service Ministry (Outreach, Church Cleaning, Garden ing, IT….)
• Parish Life Ministry (Youth, Young Adult, Senior Minis try, Holy Name, St. Vincent Society, St. Barbara Knights, Committee Members….)
