Our Parish Councils support the vision, mission, activities, and ministries of SMTC. These councils ensure that SMTC can maintain and enhance its operations and mission.
Our Parish Councils
Finance Council
The Parish Finance Council supports the Pastor in his stewardship of parish resources while being accountable to the parish and the diocesan Bishop. An active, well-formed Parish Finance Council is a key element for promoting the financial health of the parish, assuring accountability and assisting the Pastor with his responsibilities. Stewardship is another area of focus by assisting the pastor in a consultative role with managing the goods and resources of the parish, future sustainability and the financial health of the parish can be assured. Liturgy Committee
The Liturgy Committee focuses on the full range of parish liturgical life. Meeting monthly, the Liturgy Committee evaluates, plans, and implements the liturgical celebrations in our parish. This includes long-range and short-range planning, establishing parish liturgy policy, developing job descriptions for liturgical ministers, evaluating liturgies and continuing the formation and education in liturgy for committee members and the assembly. Maintenance Committee
The Maintenance Committee oversees the proper care and repair of parish buildings, equipment, and grounds. With the approval of the Pastor and the Finance Committee, they plan and coordinate repairs and improvements. Pastoral Council
The functions of the pastoral council and its commissions are pastoral, not administrative. Its functions fall into these areas:

PPC STRUCTURE: Information Technology Group
The Information Technology department is committed to serving all of the parish’s technological needs and web-based applications. It serves to maintain and support all parish networks and forms of communication. Information Technology also advises the pastor in formulating best practices involving the media and business administration involving technology. |
