Welcome from Father Francis Li, Pastor
We warmly welcome you to St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta Parish! I am glad to meet you online. St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta Parish, consisting of St. Barbara Catholic Church, St. Therese Chinese Catholic Church and School, and the Archdiocesan Center for Chinese Apostolate, is a unique and welcoming Roman Catholic Parish in the heart of Chicago’s Chinatown and Bridgeport neighborhoods. Our historic and well-maintained churches are over 100 years old. We have been proudly serving all the people in the neighborhoods, especially the Polish and Italian immigrants and in recent times, the Chinese immigrants. Both of our churches are air-conditioned and accessible for people who have difficulty handling stairs. Our school is one of the best schools, which has been recognized three times by the U.S. Department of Education as a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence.
