Calling All Altar Servers!

It is wonderful and rewarding to serve our Lord and our growing community as an altar server. You will learn responsibility and reverence, and as you gain experience and confidence you will become a teacher to younger servers. At St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta Parish, we have two beautiful worship sites and four main Masses for altar servers to assist.

• Saturdays at 5:00pm at St. Barbara
  
• Sundays 0t 8:00am at St. Therese
  
• Sundays at 9:30am at St. Barbara
  
• Sundays at 10:30am at St. Therese

We invite students 10 years and older to participate. For those who have never served or need a refresher on the tasks and responsibilities of an alter server, do not worry. The priests and other altar servers are there to help you as you gain more knowledge and experience in the sanctuary. They will help you through the eventual mistakes and hiccups, but as you serve more often, you will begin to grow confident in your responsibilities and eventually teach others! 
There are several Masses during July and August to be filled. Use the Altar Serving Schedule and Roster to sign up before July 1st! After that date, we will start assigning slots.  
We also invite you to the Chinatown Summer Fair on Saturday, July 31st at 12:00 noon to hang out with your fellow altar servers! Mr. Howard and Mrs. Miranda Huang will hand out gifts for your commitment and enthusiastic service to our community. Please sign up here.
