The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, or RCIA, is designed for those who are considering joining the Catholic Church through celebrating the sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist) at the Easter Vigil. The process welcomes adults who have never been baptized and those who have been baptized in another Christian tradition.

RCIA is offered at STMCP in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Our catechists are faith-filled individuals who are enthusiastic about passing on the Catholic faith. The RCIA classes are interactive, respectful, challenging and ENJOYABLE. The classes begin in October and last until Easter. 

We would be delighted for you to join us for any length of this journey.  No commitment is necessary before we start—simply “come and see” for yourself and engage in some learning, prayer, community, and discernment.
